You can make an impact on planning across the state of Georgia.

In 2024, GPA has a number of great opportunities in which to serve on the Board of Directors. Seven positions will be open for the 2024 election to start service January 1, 2025.

  • President-Elect
  • AICP Director at Large (two positions)
  • District 2 Director
  • District 4 Director
  • District 6 Director
  • District 8 Director

The term for President-Elect/President/Past-President is four years beginning January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2028. The term for the District Directors and AICP Directors-at-Large is two years beginning January 1, 2025. All candidates must a member in good standing. Board positions are defined in the Chapter bylaws.

The nominations process is managed through the APA Consolidated Election through Survey and Ballot Systems. The portal opens April 30.
