			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As many of you know, AICP will be embarking on a new program in this year – Advanced Specialty Certification.  The first two credentials,  AICP Certified Transportation Planner (AICP CTP) and AICP Certified Environmental Planner (AICP CEP) will be available for AICP members with at least 8 years of experience in these specialized fields.  The application period is expected to open early this summer.</p>

For more information on how PDOs may audit the May 2010 AICP Exam, please <a href="/pdfs/2010_May_PDO_Exam_Audit_Info_Agreement.pdf" target="_blank">download this PDF</a>. The signed agreement may be scanned in order to send it electronically. Applications should be signed and returned to Pintu Behera at <a href="mailto:pbehera@planning.org">pbehera@planning.org</a> no later than Thursday, January 14, 2010.<br />

May 2010 Exam Reduced Fee Scholarship Information</strong><br />
Reduced Fee Scholarship information is now available for the May 2010 AICP Exam. Please <a href="/pdfs/2010_May_Reduced_AICP_Exam_Fee_Scholarships.pdf" target="_blank">downlaod this PDF</a>. Remember that the scholarships listed for your chapter represent your total allotment for the entire year or both 2010 AICP Exam cycles. Your scholarship selections should be sent to Pintu Behera at <a href="mailto:pbehera@planning.org">pbehera@planning.org</a>, and must be received no later than Friday, January 8, 2010.</p>
<p>Also note that scholarship recipients should not start an exam application themselves. APA staff will notify the PDO who will then notify the scholarship recipient(s). The recipient will be asked to complete the exam application process by January 14, 2010.<br />
<strong><br />
November 2009 AICP Exam Results</strong><br />
The November exam window will conclude November 24, 2009. All applicants will receive their unofficial test scores at the testing center. They will receive their official test scores by mail in late January 2010.</p>
