Georgia Walks Summit | CM TBD

The Georgia Walks Summit is the first statewide gathering of people committed to making our communities great places to walk. If you’re a transportation or public health professional, community advocate or elected official, the Georgia Walks Summit is something you won’t want to miss. Plenary and breakout sessions on Vision Zero, Complete Streets, Pedestrian Road Safety Audits, Safe Routes to School, trails, sidewalk maintenance, public engagement, healthy communities and transportation funding.

Pre-summit activities on June 16 with Gil Penalosa, Executive Director of 8-80 Cities, and keynote speaker Mark Fenton, a nationally known speaker on active transportation, planning and public health. AICP CM credits pending APA approval.
