Sr. Transportation Planner

Description
We are seeking Senior Transportation Planner to support our projects in Atlanta, GA. Primary responsibilities include supporting: transportation planning activities within the Southeast Region; marketing initiatives; and public involvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or a related field
• 8-10 years of experience with Transportation Planning Studies, particularly in the context of state and federal environmental review
• Current AICP certification and/or PE license, or credentials to obtain same within 12 months of hire
• Tier I EIS experience with FHWA, FTA and FRA
• Well-versed in the FTA project development process, including New Starts
• Possess significant technical experience within the transportation planning market in Georgia
• Well-developed analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
