SUMMARY:Workshop: Bike/Ped Road Safety Audit
DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, July 29\, 2013\, ABC and Bike Emory are hosting a Roadway Safety Audit workshop for transportation planners\, engineers\, public health professionals\, law enforcement officers and advocates working to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety.  \nThe workshop will take place at Emory University from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health\, Room 2001 map. \nSpace is limited to 40 attendees – please register here. \nA Road Safety Audit  is a formal safety performance examination of a roadway by an independent\, multidisciplinary team.  It estimates and reports on potential safety issues and identifies opportunities for improvement in safety for all road users.   \nRSAs seek to reduce crashes by finding low-cost\, concrete solutions.
