EPG Year in Review – 2018

2018 was a very successful year for the Emerging Planners of Georgia (EPG). Over the past 12 months, EPG continued to provide multiple opportunities for students and planners who are in the early stages of their careers to learn, network, and just have a good time with each other. EPG leaders planned and held several events and participated in the GPA Spring and Fall conference panels. EPG was involved in over five events in which distinguished planners in the Metro Atlanta area were invited to share insights on the work they do, and the nature of advancing one’s career in planning. Speakers hailed from organizations as varied as the Upper Westside CID, the BeltLine, the Atlanta Regional Commission, and various planning consultant firms. EPG wishes to thank all of the individuals who volunteered their time to impart their knowledge to others! It is important to also point out that several of these events are eligible to be counted for AICP Certification Maintenance credits, providing further value to attendees.
