The Community Planner will join our Georgia planning team as a key member of an active, enthusiastic and growing planning practice. This is an opportunity to have an impactful role on a variety of projects including, comprehensive plans, with a particular focus on high-growth communities; multi-modal transportation planning projects including bicycle and pedestrian plans and long-range transportation plans; zoning and land development regulations; application of GIS, Sketch-Up, Adobe Suites, and other computer-generated graphic elements in support of our planning documents and presentations; and public involvement activities in our communities including public workshops, charrettes, surveys and stakeholder interviews.
- Preferred requirements include a Master’s Degree in Community Planning or an Undergraduate Degree in planning, Urban design, architecture, or landscape architecture
- Prefer 1-2 years of experience applicable to comprehensive, transportation or environmental planning.
- AICP certification is preferred, but not required.
