Survey for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte: How does nature and its conservation factor into what planners do?

Greetings,

My name is Kaitlynn Bryan-Scaggs and I am an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Department of Geography and Earth Sciences. I am working on a Charlotte Research Scholars-sponsored project over the summer with associate professor Sara Gagné and assistant professor Robert Boyer. We are investigating what information planners need to conserve nature in their jurisdictions, specifically in the Southeastern US. As President of your state chapter of the American Planning Association or another elected official, we would like you to send survey to your email listservs and/or membership subscribers. The short survey about planning practices and nature conservation will help us gain information to improve the interchange of knowledge between planning and conservation ecology. Your responses will be invaluable to this end!

Please click this link to participate in our survey, which will take about 20 minutes to complete. Your participation, including the jurisdiction where you work, will be kept confidential.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me. You may also email Dr. Sara Gagné or Dr. Boyer.
