SUMMARY:Fair Share for Transit
DESCRIPTION:Rally\, happy hour\, and update on Fair Share for Transit campaign on Thursday\, June 30\, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.! \nJOIN US at the Margaret Mitchell House in Midtown Atlanta to meet with other supporters and discuss the importance of keeping key transit\, pedestrian and bike projects on the Regional Transportation Roundtable list for next year’s special transportation sales tax referendum. \nAs of June 30\, the Roundtable has just 45 days to prepare a draft final list and 105 days to finalize it\, paring down a collection of regional projects currently totaling nearly $23 billion to a selection costing slightly more than $6 billion. \nJoin us to talk about what’s at stake and about Fair Share for Transit’s next steps. Please RSVP to jbartak@livablecommunitiescoalition.org by COB Wednesday to let us know you’ll be there!
