Description
Cobb DOT and the CobbLinc Transit System are looking for a talented individual to support the next chapter of it’s transit system. The Transit Planning Division Manager will lead the new Planning division, be responsible for short and long term planning for the transit system and working directly with the Transit Operation and Transportation Planning Divisions within Cobb DOT.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Public Administration, City and Regional Planning or related field;
- Supplemented by five years of progressively responsible experience managing Transportation operations, including lead or supervisory experience
- Seven years of experience in the field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and/or active participation in local or national planning association
- Experience and working knowledge of GIS, GTFS and related software, platforms and applications as related to transit planning,
- Experience leading a team with the various roles and responsibilities as listed in the short and long-range planning duties.
Salary Range
$90,882.62 – $120,419.47
Open to salary considerations, based on qualifying experience.
