2026 Board Elections
The Georgia Chapter Board elections in early August 2026, the Chapter will be voting the following Board positions:
- President-Elect
- AICP Directors-at-Large (2 positions)
- Directors for Districts 2, 4, 6, and 8

These Board terms will commence on January 1, 2027. The AICP Directors-at-Large and District Director terms are two calendar years, with the term ending on December 31, 2028. The President-Elect will serve for one year, 2027, serve as President for two years, 2028-2029, and serve as Past-President for one year, 2030.
Board member duties are defined in the Chapter Bylaws. Each candidate for office shall be a member in good standing of APA and the Chapter, and shall be at least 18 years of age.

Serving on the Board is a great way to network, connect, and give back to GPA and the planning profession in Georgia. New board member terms will officially begin January 1, 2027.
