CM Four-month Extension

On January 1, 2017, the CM system will automatically grant you a four-month extension. The grace period allows you to continue earning and logging credits for the 2015-2016 reporting period through April 30, 2017. Please go to your personal CM log to record all the credits you’ve earned.

Here are a few suggestions on how to fulfill your CM requirements.

  • Earn all 32 credits at APA’s 2017 National Planning Conference in New Your, May 6-9, 2017. For more information, visit the conference webpage.
  • Check out APA’s streaming media education products at the store. Many 2016 NPC sessions: Translating the Plan into Action, and other products approved for CM ethics: A Play on Planning Ethics; CM law: Law, Planning and Plain English, and Planning Law Review (2015, 2014, 2013, or earlier).
  • Find a listing of free CM credits that are offered through distance education products. Opportunities are added as they become available, so please check back frequently for the most current information.
