Congratulations to Dylan Apelu, 2024 APA Foundation Diversity Scholarship

Congratulations to Dylan Apelu, who received a 2024 APA Foundation Diversity Scholarship. Dylan was one of only 23 students who received this award. Dylan is a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology and is pursuing a dual Masters degree in Civil Engineering and City and Regional Planning. Dylan is currently conducting research for his master thesis by using indigenous-led solutions to address transportation equity in Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.

Dylan also was awarded the APA Sustainable Communities Division Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Scholarship, and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program (DDETFP) Award.
