2012 Georgia Green Economy Summit

Last year’s 2nd annual GA Green Economy Summit hosted by the Savannah Ocean Exchange was a success. The initial goal of the Georgia Green Economy Summit was to raise awareness while fostering objective dialog in regards to GA understanding the implications of the emerging Green Economy. Confirmed supporters of the 2012 GA Green Economy Summit event that will be held in Atlanta includes: EPA, FCC, Coke, UBS, GE, GA Power, Cox Enterprises, CINCS, GIC Group, Pepco Holdings, NCR, Mage Solar, UGA Terry College of Business, NAC International, USEC, City of Savannah, City of Atlanta, Retrofit-A-Million, The American Carbon Registry, Winrock Foundation, and The Joint Center for Economic and Political Studies. The goal of this year’s summit is to develop a strategic framework that could become the precursor to a GA Green Economy Strategic Plan.
