The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has prepared a draft Advisory Circular (AC) which is designed to assist airports in identifying compatible land use issues and also provides guidance to local land use planning authorities in better understanding the effects of non-compatible land use on the safety and utility of airport operations.
