Webinar: Education and Encouragement: Bringing the Right People Together

What really change a person’s behavior? How can agencies and activist help inform and encourage appropriate behavior on our streets and pathways? When new infrastructure or operations are introduced, how can we ensure that users understand intentions and exhibit safe operation? How do we best utilize the resources of agency staff and advocacy resources to help this process? This webinar will examine the effectiveness of Education and Encouragement, how to we broaden the tent of who’s involved in the so called “soft” E’s.

The CSRA Regional Commission will host a webinar viewing and discussion at their office in Augusta, GA. The RC has covered the cost of this webinar; it will be free to all who attend the viewing at our office. This webinar is part of a series offered by the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals, and AICP, ASLA, and ITE credits have been applied for.

This webinar and the others in the 2019-2020 series will be viewed from the CSRA Regional Commission office; time will be available after the 1-hour webinar for discussion of local/regional issues.
