Regional leaders can’t lead effectively if we don’t tell them what we want…

Get a Move On 10-County Town Hall on Transportation, Growth and the Future of Metro Atlanta

Give us a few hours, we’ll give you a meaningful voice.

The Get a Move On 10-County Town Hall is bringing together Metro Atlantans from different communities, different perspectives and different backgrounds to give their feedback on topics that are central to the debate leading up to the 2012 transportation sales tax referendum – topics like priorities for a fast-growing region; the balance between transit and roads; environmental sustainability; economic growth; investments that could truly make a positive difference in the region’s future; and accountability and governance. Please join us and make sure your voice is heard.

Town Hall presentations will include:

  • Fast-forward to 2040: Growth patterns and projections for Metro Atlanta.
  • Everything you ever wanted to know about the transportation investment act and the 2012 transportation sales tax referendum.
  • What it means to be a region – with Atlanta Journal-Constitution editorial page editor Andre Jackson.

But mostly, we’ll be listening to what you have to say, with a little help from the latest clicker technology and good, old-fashioned, small-group discussion. This is going to be fun — we promise.

Seating is limited for the 10-County Town Hall, so registration is required; please register online or by calling (404) 221-1553. Visit www.getamoveonATL.com for full details.

Get a Move On is sponsored by The Civic League for Regional Atlanta in collaboration with the Livable Communities Coalition.
