Short Course – Confronting Homelessness: Innovation & Collaboration

March 5, 2020 - March 7, 2020

The Georgia Institute of Technology School of City and Regional Planning is offering this short course to discuss the causes and consequences of homelessness and how cities deal with this critical challenge. It will include panel discussions, stories from people who have suffered homelessness, and outreach to see firsthand how homeless individuals survive followed by helping them transition to shelters. The last day will be about solutions—what are the innovative plans and programs that have made a difference in reducing homelessness.

The course is arranged and coordinated by Protip Biswas, Executive Director, Regional Commission on Homelessness, United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
