The Outlook and Practice of Health Impact Assessment in the United States (CM | 1.5)

Georgia Tech School of City and Regional Planning professors Catherine Ross and Nisha Botchwey will discuss their research and recent book, Health Impact assessment in the United States. The publication focuses on HIA as a tool for policy in the US Brings together the theory, evidence, training resources for incorporating health into routine public practices. It additionally provides guidelines for methods and best practices in HIA​.

Respondents include Arthur Wendel, MD, MPH of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Tami Thomas-Burton, MPH, of the Environmental Protection Agency
