Transportation, Public Health, and Sustainability: from Research to Practice

Upcoming lecture at the CDC Chamblee Campus on Wednesday, Nov. 16th 1:00 – 2:30 as part of CDC’s 2011 Sustainability Forum.

The title of the session is Transportation, Public Health, and Sustainability: from Research to Practice. There will be presentations from Arthur Wendel, MD, MPH Healthy Community Design, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Leslie Meehan, AICP Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization on incorporating health in transportation planning and sustainable community design. Please see the more details below and the attached flyer. Registration is required for external guests via this link to attend in person and must be completed by Nov. 9th.

Also, a LiveMeeting is scheduled to allow for remote attendees to participate in the Q & A session with the speakers and panelists.
