Atlanta Streets Alive opens streets for people by taking cars out of the equation for an afternoon to create a healthy, sustainable and vibrant city street experience. On June 9, Atlanta Streets Alive will open nearly 9 miles of Howell Mill Road, Marietta Street, Decatur Street, and DeKalb Avenue for the special Cross-City route.

EPG will be volunteering Downtown from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM as Crosswalk Heroes, which support Atlanta Streets Alive by holding positions near main intersections and at any hazards along the route to aid participants with navigating the route safely. They also answer questions about the route and the day’s activities. Please contact Charlene Mingus if you have any questions.
