Workshop: Bike/Ped Road Safety Audit

On Monday, July 29, 2013, ABC and Bike Emory are hosting a Roadway Safety Audit workshop for transportation planners, engineers, public health professionals, law enforcement officers and advocates working to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety.
The workshop will take place at Emory University from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, Room 2001 map.

A Road Safety Audit is a formal safety performance examination of a roadway by an independent, multidisciplinary team. It estimates and reports on potential safety issues and identifies opportunities for improvement in safety for all road users.
RSAs seek to reduce crashes by finding low-cost, concrete solutions. For more information on RSAs, visit the FHWA resource center.
