The DeKalb County Department of Planning and Sustainability will host the annual World Planning Day event at the Rainbow Park Amphitheatre. The event focuses on bringing the community together to learn about planning and take-home information and resources that will help them best advocate for their communities. The event also aims to be family-friendly and accessible to all ages! Over twenty DeKalb County Departments and local partners will participate in the event to share valuable information and resources with the community. Partners include MARTA, the Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), DeKalb Board of Education, the UGA Cooperative Extension, and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners. The event will also highlight the winners of the World Planning Day Middle School Art Contest.
