Description
The Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) is a coastal Georgia based organization serving ten counties and thirty-five cities with comprehensive planning and development services. Our Planning and Government Services Department is announcing a new job opening for a Planning Manager. The position will manage assigned staff and work closely with local governments on advanced, highly complex professional planning and government services activities. The Planning Manager will:
- Manage assigned staff and daily operations;
- Develop and implement local comprehensive plans;
- Develop and implement regional plans;
- Work with federal and state partners to administer projects;
- Provide staff support to local governments;
- Liaison between CRC and external organizations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning or related field;
- Minimum six years of planning related experience; graduate degree may substitute for 2 years of experience;
- Interdisciplinary knowledge of urban and regional planning and Georgia planning law;
- Proficient in interpreting federal and state regulations;
- Proficient in the use of computers and Office 365 software;
- Superior, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, solid organization skills, and self-motivated.
Salary Range
$70,000 – $75,000
