The Senior Planner performs a variety of advanced planning tasks including rezoning and variance applications, conduct research and prepare reports, and presents at public meetings with boards and elected officials. The planner’s experience should feature knowledge and experience in land use, economic and social issues and understanding of ARC GIS. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Planning or related field preferred.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree supplemented by a Master’s degree and a minimum three (3) years of experience in Planning or Zoning work.
• Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) preferred.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.

Salary Range
$55,518.44 – $72,173.97
