2026 Election Notice

Voting is Open

Attention APA/GPA members, the election for leadership in the Georgia Chapter and nationally is here and we need your VOTE! The election ballot will be available from August 5 through September 4, 2026.

The 2026 GPA Ballot has seven positions up for election. The sample ballot is as follows:

President-Elect

  • Gregory L. Brown
  • Erin L. Thoresen, AICP

District 2 Director

  • Lara M. Parker

District 4 Director

  • Amanda Jensen, AICP, CFM

District 6 Director

  • Carla Delaney MPA, AICP

District 8 Director

  • Alexandra Arzayus

AICP Directors-at-Large (Vote for 2)

  • Jessica Guinn, AICP
  • Elena Oertel, AICP
  • Dana Spayde, AICP
  • John Thompson, AICP

These GPA board terms will commence on January 1, 2027.

GPA participates in the consolidated election with APA, and APA has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems to administer the 2026 APA/GPA and Divisions consolidated election.

To ensure you receive your ballot in your email inbox on August 5, please add the following email address as an approved sender: . Note that to vote in the Georgia Chapter elections, the Chapter’s bylaws require that you are both an APA and GPA member to vote. In addition, the ballot will be sent to your email address on record at APA, so please log in to your account at APA to confirm you have a current email on file.
