Donate to Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts in Augusta

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Augusta-Richmond County is opening a Community Donation Center to support those still impacted. The center is seeking both volunteers and donated items to distribute vital resources to the community. The Donation Center, located at 4101 Windsor Spring Rd, Suite 10, Hephzibah, GA 30815, opened on October 15, 2024 and will remain operational until further notice.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Center is looking for volunteers to greet donors, assist with drop-offs, sort donated items, unload trucks, and shrink wrapping pallets and restocking supplies. Volunteer shifts are 2-hours each, between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the Volunteer Registration Form. Once this form is submitted, you will hear from a representative within 48 hours.

DONATIONS

The Center is currently accepting donations for critical items: blankets, first-aid kits, personal hygiene items, and baby supplies (diapers of all sizes, formula, wipes, lotion, etc.), as well as a host of other items listed below. If you are interested in donating, please fill out the Donation Form. Once this form is submitted, you will hear from a representative within 48 hours.

  • Home repair assistance: Funding for repairs to accessibility features, ramps, grab bars, electrical upgrades, roof repairs, etc.
  • Transportation support: Gas vouchers, transportation to medical appointments or grocery stores.
  • Financial assistance for housing repairs
  • Monetary donations

Hours of Operation: The Community Donation Center operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is located at 4101 Windsor Spring Road, Suite 10, Hepzibah, Georgia.
