Elevate your Intern Opportunities

The University of Cincinnati’s (UC) co-op program connects students’ academic study to a series of meaningful professional experiences through alternating semesters of full-time, paid positions related to their major; it’s a partnership between UC, employers, and students.

Undergraduate and graduate programs empower students with a core of knowledge that provides a solid educational base. UC students are prepared for careers in urban planning, landscape architecture, preservation and sustainability by a passionate faculty, engaged co-op faculty advisors, rigorous academic endeavors, and a world-class professional practice (co-op) program.

UC is continuing to grow its paw print and is seeking employer opportunities in locations outside their region with Atlanta being a focal metropolitan area. They place students on a year-round basis to top design firms and strong public sector agencies. Hiring for the spring semester will begin in October.

District 2 Director and Athens Clarke County Planner Marc Beechuk is a graduate of the program and seeking to assist firms or organizations in Georgia that would value becoming employer partners. Please reach out to Marc if you have questions, want materials on the program or to set-up a meeting with UC co-op staff.
