The GPA Board has had three board members recently resign due to job changes. These changes either resulted in them being ineligible for their board position or impacted their availability to continue serving on the board. GPA thanks the following board members for their service on the GPA Board:
- District 4 Director Toussaint Kirk
- Planning Official Robert Patrick
- Planning Officials Development Officer Richard Osborne
For the positions of District 4 Director and Planning Official Director, we reached out to eligible chapter members to fulfill the remainder of the current terms for each position. We’re excited to announce that our two newest board members are:
- District 4 Director Chad Jacobs
- Planning Official Jon West
The role of Planning Officials Development Officer is the most recent board vacancy, and we are seeking eligible candidates for this position. This board member works with DCA and regional commissions throughout the state and is focused primarily on training needs for planning commissions.
Description from page 16 of the GPA Bylaws: Planning Officials Development Officer.
