HB 741 Sludge Land Application Permits
This bill would require applicants for a permit for a sludge land application system to provide written verification to the Director of EPD by the applicant that the proposed facility complies with local zoning (if any). It would also require that any public hearings conducted the Environmental Protection Division and the applicant for the permit be held within the jurisdiction of the local governing authority where the proposed sludge land application site is located.
