President’s Message: Tis the Season to Give Thanks

As my term comes to a close, I am immensely thankful for the opportunity to serve the chapter for the last two years. I’m thankful for the platform to advocate for planning at both the federal and state level, and for the incredible amount that I’ve learned about our state. From rural crossroads to suburban centers and major metro areas, we’re growing. And we need to plan for that growth.

November 3 is our next Policy and Advocacy Committee work session. If housing supply is an issue in your community, or you understand that zoning matters, you should be there. (You should be there.) Email for the zoom link.

November 8 is World Town Planning Day, our annual day to celebrate the role of planners and planning in creating healthy, prosperous communities. Join colleagues in 30 countries and promote how your work improves the lives of people and benefits society at large.

Thank you for all that you do.
