Recap: Georgia Tech School of City and Regional Planning Fall Reception
On Friday, September 6th, the Georgia Tech School of City and Regional Planning, in collaboration with GPA, hosted a reception that brought together over 100 faculty, alumni, students, and GPA members. A cherished tradition before the pandemic, the event provided an excellent opportunity to build connections, engage in discussions about current trends in the planning field, and celebrate the community.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, beverages, a trivia session led by SCaRP’s longest-serving faculty members, Michael Elliott and Bill Drummond, and welcome remarks from School Chair Gulsah Akar, College of Design Dean Ellen Bassett, and GPA President Kristen Wescott.
