2011 Georgia Water Resources Conference

Planning for the 2011 Georgia Water Resources Conference (www.gawrc.org) has begun!

In the past, your help has been a big reason why the conference has been a success.

We’ve scheduled an organizing meeting on Friday, June 18, from 9 am to 3 pm at:

  • Atlanta Room
  • EPA Region 4 Headquarters (downtown Atlanta)
  • Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center
  • 61 Forsyth Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30303-8960
  • Next to Five Points MARTA station

The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in water resources and who can assist in identifying important topics, as well as finding speakers to address these topics.

We would especially appreciate the participation of professional societies, local, state, and federal agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

ALSO => We would like to discuss SOUTHEASTERN WATER RESOURCES OPPORTUNITIES.

While our conference has focused on Georgia’s water resources, it is clear that many of Georgia’s water resource challenges are shared throughout the Southeast.

We would especially appreciate those of you who’ve successfully demonstrated such a regional approach, and to share with us your achievements, and to help us with this effort.
