Director of Planning

The Office of Facilities supports and promotes the value of Georgia’s higher education learning environments by providing strategic direction and leadership in all areas of facilities management, including planning, space assessment, project development, design and construction, operations, real estate, and environmental health and safety.

Planner / Transportation Planner

Planner / Transportation Planner the Junior / Mid-Level Class position in the Planner series classification. The employee in this class performs a variety of professional and technical planning activities including executing ongoing updates and amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan as required by state regulations; coordinates rezoning and variance cases, provides revisions to the Development Code, Technical Manual and other applicable Ordinances; reviews site plans and permit applications; provides technical assistance to elected and appointed Commissions, Boards, the public and other diverse audiences.

Planner II / Senior Planner

TCF, LLC, is actively seeking to fill two highly organized planners to join our team of professionals. These positions may be filled as a Planner II or Senior Planner, depending on the qualifications of the candidate. We currently need planners to support multi-disciplinary planning projects, including both long-range and current planning, as well as carrying out research planning projects.

Planner III

The Planner III position performs a high level of professional planning and zoning activities for the City of Johns Creek Community Development Department. The Planner III ensures compliance with state planning laws, the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Zoning and sign ordinances, development regulations and other local ordinances; and assists in the review and approval of community development related land development, zoning, use, variance and sign applications and processes.

Planner II

The Planner II position performs a variety of professional planning services for the City of Johns Creek’s Community Development Department. The Planner II reports to the Planning and Zoning Manager and ensures compliance with state planning laws, the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and other local ordinances; and assists in the review and approval of community development related applications and processes.

Land Development Inspector

The Land Development Inspector is a non-exempt position reporting to the Land Development Manager and is responsible for performing inspections of construction development sites involving clearing, grading, paving, and installation of stormwater structures and facilities with the City of Johns Creek.
