2015 Southeastern Regional Transit Conference

The Federal Transit Administration is very excited to invite you to the 2015 Southeastern Regional Transit Conference — “Building Ladders of Opportunity Through Transportation Networks” — which will be held in Atlanta, GA on May 13-15, 2015 at the Loudermilk Conference Center. The conference is being co-sponsored by the Georgia Transportation Institute, University Transportation Center (GTI-UTC) and the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR), University of South Florida.
As you know, building and sustaining vital transportation systems throughout our nation is a high priority and our role in delivering safe and reliable transit options has expanded significantly under MAP-21. This conference will focus on the key program changes, new and updated policies and regulations, the Administration’s initiatives, as well as, sharing best practices in the industry.
We will have the opportunity to hear and engage with FTA’s Acting Administrator, Therese McMillan, on transit priorities and challenges going forward. Other transit policymakers and regional subject matter experts will be presenting valuable information on topics, such as Buy America, Major Capital Investment Program, TRAMS, Safety and Transit Asset Management, and many, many more.
