ArcGIS Desktop I (v 10.1): Introduction to GIS

The ArcGIS Desktop training curriculum is designed to help you master critical GIS skills and be productive right away with the ArcGIS 10.1 tools for visualizing, analyzing and managing geographic data. Desktop I is designed for individuals who do not have prior GIS education or workplace experience, and for managers and GIS support staff who infrequently use ArcGIS and need to understand how GIS fits into their organization. Desktop II is designed for GIS professionals and others who have an introductory-level knowledge of GIS concepts who want to extend their basic ArcGIS skills in the areas of data creation and editing, geoprocessing tools and GIS analysis. Both courses are taught by an ESRI-authorized instructor. Note: There are only 12 spots in each class.
