Chicopee Mill and Village Historic District Tour (CM | 2.5)

You are invited to join architects, landscape architects and planners for lectures, a tour and a social complete with beer, tacos and chips. Earn 2.5 AICP CM Credits at Chicopee Mill and Village Historic District Gainesville/Hall County, GA on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. (Location – Chicopee Village, 10 First Street, Gainesville GA 30504).
“Chicopee Mill and Village Historic District: Design and Planning Perspectives from its Past and Future,” will highlight the 1920s era planning and design work of Earle S. Draper, Planner & Landscape Architect, and J.E. Sirrine, Industrial Architect and Engineer. A walking tour follows, allowing attendees to experience the landscape setting and to access the interiors of several buildings. Tour ends at the mill complex, which is adjacent to the brewery, location of the social. In addition to, there will be a birthday cake to celebrate the birthday of Frederick Law Olmsted.
