The GAFM is now accepting presentation submittals for its 14th annual conference, “Watershed Vision 2020: A Clear Look at the Future of Floodplain Management.” The submission deadline is February 3, 2020. Submittal abstracts should be sent to Traci Murray.
The Georgia Association of Floodplain Management invites you to attend the 14th Annual Conference: Watershed Vision 2020: A Clear Look at the Future of Floodplain Management. We will return to our historic favorite, Lake Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge in Buford, GA. This year’s conference will offer an exciting field trip to the Elachee Nature & Science Center, innovative and forward-thinking sessions, networking events, and, of course, presentations from some of the best and brightest minds in the industry. Presenters and attendees will include elected officials, scientists, engineers, surveyors, code officials, emergency managers, professional planners, insurance agents, conservationists, and vendors.
