Join the Student Planning Association of Georgia Tech for Park(ing) Day 2011 (http://parkingday.org/) along Fifth Street in Tech Square. Park(ing) Day is an international event that encourages people to think about how space is used by turning metered parking spaces into green space, public space, and other creative uses. 

The event in Tech Square will feature a park-like space as well as activities such as yoga at 9:30am and contra dance and music at 1:30pm. People coming by the spaces are welcome to participate in events or hang out in our space with their lunch, book, or to chat with others at any time from 9am to 3pm. Food trucks may be present as well!
