Park(ing) day is a global, public, participatory project where people across the world temporarily repurpose curbside parking spaces and convert them into public parks and social spaces to advocate for safer, greener, and more equitable streets for people. 

The Georgia Tech Student Planning Association is transforming parking spaces on Tech Square into vibrant, community-driven pockets of creativity to remind us that in the heart of urban landscapes, there’s room for greenery, art, and play. Join SPA on Tech Square to engage in a micro act of civil joy – the theme of this year’s global Park(ing) Day.
