This is a nationally recognized event sponsored by the American Planning Association (APA) and Valdosta has participated in it for the last three years.

This workshop will explore alternatives for enhancing collaboration around school siting through policies and actions on the local, regional and state level.

This workshop will highlight local governments in the region and how they have implemented effective green policies. Participants will come away with a better understanding of how these programs were initiated and are managed day to day.
