This Practicum provides sea level rise science, research on shoreline movement, and the implications for the Georgia coast.

In February 2013, the City of Dublin will proudly host the 8th Forum of the World Alliance of Cities Against Poverty (WACAP), a worldwide network of some 900 cities established by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to work together to address urban challenges and crises in a collective and collaborative manner.

This Practicum is designed to improve the effectiveness of planning commission members by helping them understand their role and responsibilities.

This free event is intended to broaden applicant pools and enhance the fit between graduating M.Arch, MCRP, and MSPP students and employers, but it also serves to open doors for intern placements and later employment.

Approximately 150 experts from around Georgia have been invited to be a part of this day-long event. The purpose is to bring together a variety of disciplines, and leading experts within those disciplines, to address how we, as a group, can successfully not only manage our flood risk, here within the State, but also how we can manage our valuable floodplain resources, as well!
