The APA Water and Planning Network’s committees are bringing together planners, design professionals, and water professionals together to build understanding and opportunities.
This article, based on the Vinson Institute’s Planning & Zoning 201 class, is intended to help planners and planning officials think about how ethics and planning relate to each other so that they can act in ways that support the ethical principles espoused in state law, local government and planning codes of ethics, and professional rules of conduct.
Big changes are coming to the American Planning Association! Beginning on July 11, APA student membership will be free to any full- or part-time student actively matriculated in any university or college degree program. APA also will offer two years of reduced dues to help bridge the gap between university and professional life. First-time members will enjoy discounted introductory rates as well.
