The APA Economic Development and Small Town and Rural (STaR) Divisions’ Municipal Broadband Questionnaire
On February 15th the APA’s Small Town and Rural (STaR) and Economic Development divisions are sending out a short survey on municipal broadband to canvass APA members on their community’s broadband availability, and to understand what rural planners and economic development officers would like from the APA in terms of education, training, and tools.
The American Planning Association (APA) today named Midtown Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, as one of five Great Neighborhoods on the organization’s annual Great Places in America list, which marks the kick-off of APA’s National Community Planning Month celebration.
APA and AICP allows each state Chapter to designate one person that has a financial hardship to take advantage of the 2016 Reduced Exam Fee Scholarship program for the November 2016 testing window. This is limited to ONE person is Georgia who would otherwise defer taking or are unable to take the AICP exam because of the high cost.
