2025 Spring Conference in Review

It was another successful GPA Spring Conference! “The Power of Place” brought 225 attendees to beautiful Gainesville on March 13, 2025.

Attendees enjoyed a day packed with exhilarating presentations and panels covering transportation, housing, and inclusive communities, environmental and sustainability planning, including three engaging mobile sessions exploring Gainesville-Hall County’s multi-use trails, local projects that is generating global impacts, and innovative placemaking strategies.

Keynote Speaker

We are thrilled to welcome Kristin Allin, Principal Planner with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), as our keynote speaker! Kristin will dive into Affordable Housing Strides, Accomplishments, and Challenges across metro Atlanta and introduce best practices from the newly established Regional Housing Toolkit.
